Can I just say WHAT A DAY. Warning this may be a session of blogging therapy but I figured I have not had a rambling post in awhile.
Can I give you a piece of advice…when you wake up really early and you have not had ANY coffee yet. That is not the best time to be messing with your blog. {sigh} I messed with my “Beauty Inside and Out” blog and I know enough to be dangerous. Or in my case I know how to lock myself out of my own blog and not have it come up. It was G.O.N.E.
I freaked.
If this happened on any normal day I would just chalk it up to God giving me a message or something, but NOT TODAY because today I was to pick a winner for the gift certificate. I had no idea what I was going to do. I could not get into my blog or even see it, let alone know who left comments to enter. What was I going to do?
I emailed WebExMedia.net who is my hosting service (can I just say they are worth EVERY.PENNY). They said they would work on it. After trying to figure out what I had done (let me tell you this is no easy task) they tried to fix it.
Well I was already WOE-IS-ME attitude and just as I was going to sit down and write a post confessing my mess, beg for your forgiveness and ask you what I should do.
People I was in tears over this today.
They fixed my blog. I don’t know how, but I can not begin to tell you how happy I was.
But on top of breaking a blog, all three of our kids kind of blindsided us today with unacceptable progress reports. Usually we have one child that may need a “mid-course” adjustment of reminding them how important their studies are, but all three??!! I want to tell you I was very spiritual and took them aside and discussed things with them. I want to tell you I sat there with them trying to find the root of the problem but instead I believe I screamed something to the effect of “you are going to remember this Christmas as the Christmas that s*&ked.”
I am not proud, just honest. Keeping it real. Will you still be my friend ‘;)
Then my middle son had an ortho apt. He is having this contraption thing put in his mouth in January and they needed to put spacers in some of his teeth. He promptly went back to school ate a Jolly rancher and lost one of the spacers already!
By this time I told my hubby I am going to begin to laugh, it has been one thing after another.
I have commited to taking one picture a day (see my Photo tab if you want to see them), well I have not taken one yet and it is pitch dark. So I am going to go off and find something to photograph. Thanks for listening to me, now I am going to go make sure all the kids are doing extra homework and to see if I have any more wine for my whine.
Oh and can you tell me, do you like both of my sidebars off to the right, or do you like it the way it is now…I truly can not decide if I like it or not.
UPDATE: Um yeah, about my day. Want to know how it ended? See here. I still am in shock and awe. Now I am going to HAVE to exercise, ha!!
